OMEGA Focus
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 September 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how OMEGA Labs (the “Site”, “App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you visit or use OMEGA Focus and our related services, make a purchase from the Site, or otherwise communicate with us (collectively, the “Services”). “You” and “your” means you as the user of the Services, whether you are a customer, website visitor, or another individual whose information we have collected pursuant to this Privacy Policy.
Google user data: Calendar and Gmail
OMEGA Focus is a planning assistant for iPhone, desktop and the web. It understands your present moment and prepares your next move. You can optionally connect your Google account so Focus can use your calendar and email as context. Nothing is accessed until you choose to connect and approve the exact permissions shown on Google’s consent screen.
What we request and why
- Basic account information (name, email address, profile picture): to create and sign you in to your Focus account.
- Google Calendar, read (calendar.readonly): Focus reads your existing events and their times to know when you are busy, so it does not propose or schedule work over commitments you already have.
- Google Calendar, events (calendar.events): Focus creates or edits a calendar event only after showing you the exact event and receiving your confirmation. We keep the event ID so the change can be undone or managed by you.
- Gmail, read (gmail.readonly): Focus reads message metadata (sender, subject, date and unread state) for recent messages to show you which communications may need your attention. Focus does not use or store message bodies for this feature.
- Gmail, drafts (gmail.compose): Focus creates a Gmail draft only after showing you the complete draft and receiving your confirmation. Focus never sends email on your behalf; you review and send from Gmail. We keep the draft ID so you can open or discard it.
How we use, store and share it
Google user data is used only to provide the user-facing Focus features described above. It is stored in a private, per-user account namespace on encrypted cloud infrastructure, and OAuth tokens are stored encrypted. We retain Google data only while your connection is active and for as long as it is needed to provide these features; when you disconnect a service or delete your account we stop accessing it and delete stored tokens and Google-derived data, subject to short-lived operational backups.
We share Google user data only with service providers that are necessary to deliver the feature you are using, such as cloud hosting and the AI model providers that generate your plan and drafts. Those providers receive only what the feature requires and are contractually limited to processing it on our behalf. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, share it with data brokers, or use it to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine-learning models. Humans at OMEGA Labs do not read your Google data except with your explicit consent (for example, when you ask for support), when required for security or legal compliance, or when the data is aggregated and anonymized.
Your controls
You can disconnect Google Calendar or Gmail at any time in the Focus settings, or revoke Focus from your Google Account permissions. Focus keeps working without the disconnected source. You can also request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing contact@omega-labs.ai.
Limited Use disclosure
OMEGA Focus’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will post the revised Privacy Policy on the Site, update the “Last updated” date and take any other steps required by applicable law.
